About this task

This health insurer (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Legal Operations for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Sorts requests so lawyers deal with the right ones.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Finland works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Triage requests, answer routine ones using templates and route the rest to counsel.
  • A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Monday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Tuesday: main working block (3 hours)
  • Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
