About this task

This legal services provider advising lenders (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a director Legal Operations for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Sorts requests so lawyers deal with the right ones.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a law firm; confidentiality is absolute and every file is handled under supervision.

The team sits in Budapest. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

  • Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
  • Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
  • Thursday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
