About this task

This Supply-chain software company (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Learning & Development Designer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Finds skill gaps and where training helps.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.

The team sits in Cologne. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Survey 80 managers and recommend three priority programmes.
  • The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
  • One round of edits after the company's review is included
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

How the work runs

  • Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
  • Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
  • Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
