About this task
This specialty insurer (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a specialist Compliance Analyst for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–20 h a month. Reviews customer files for completeness.
A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The company prefers a person who can come to Sioux City for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).
What you deliver
- Review 60 onboarding files for missing documents and adverse media hits.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
