About this task

This Public-sector services provider (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Regulatory Researcher for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. How one rule differs across countries or states.

A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It supplies the public sector, so documentation follows contract rules.

The team sits in Terrassa. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Compare data localisation rules in the US, Canada, UK and the EU with a table and sources.
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
  • The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

How the work runs

  • Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
  • Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
  • Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
