About this task
This Home-goods retailer with stores in six countries (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Job Description Writer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–20 h a month. Rewrites a set of old JDs to a consistent standard.
The company wants one reliable owner for a list of small jobs instead of five different people. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.
The work is fully remote. Any location in United States works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Rewrite 40 JDs to a new template and check wording for bias.
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
