About this task
This international nonprofit (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Internal Audit & SOX Support for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Samples access, change and backup controls for the audit file.
A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.
The team sits in Boston. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Test user access reviews and change approvals for three systems and record exceptions.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
