About this task

This legal services provider (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior IP & Trademark Support for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–12 h a month. Collects IP assignment agreements from staff and contractors.

The company wants one reliable owner for a list of small jobs instead of five different people. It is a law firm; confidentiality is absolute and every file is handled under supervision.

The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Sweden. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.

What you deliver

  • Identify 40 people without IP assignments and collect signed agreements.
  • A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
  • A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
  • The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result

What a month looks like

  • Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
  • Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
  • Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items

Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

Who fits

  • 5-10 years of hands-on work as an IP & Trademark Support, or the equivalent mix of roles
  • Comfortable working in DocuSign and Excel
  • The work is done under the supervision of a licensed lawyer or accountant on the company's side.
  • Your own work history stays private; the company sees a first name, your field and a rate

  • Experience in a similar industry
  • A habit of asking one clarifying question early rather than five late

Not included

  • On-call availability outside the agreed window
  • Managing other contractors or employees
  • A signature or opinion in your own name: sign-off stays with the company

How you get paid

  • The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
  • Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
