About this task
This Embedded-finance provider for e-commerce sellers (5,000+ employees) is looking for a specialist Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Sends invoices on time and follows up on due dates.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It operates in regulated payments and lending, so a written trail for every decision matters.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Canada works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Issue the week's invoices from the billing system and send reminders at due date and day 10 overdue.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Monday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
