About this task

This aerospace supplier (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Treasury & Cash-Flow Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Checks surplus cash policy and options for placing it.

The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It works in aerospace, where change control and documentation are formal.

The company prefers a person who can come to New York City for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

What you deliver

  • Write a short surplus cash policy and compare money-market options against the company's risk limits.
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
  • One round of edits after the company's review is included

How the work runs

  • Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
  • Days 2 to 5: the work, with questions answered the same day
  • Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

  • Experience in a similar industry

How you get paid

  • Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
