About this task
This household products maker selling in 20 countries (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a specialist Supply Chain Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Safety stock, reorder points and slow movers.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.
The team sits in Bari. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Recommend safety stock and reorder points for 400 SKUs to cut stock-outs by half.
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 8: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
