About this task

This beverage company in plant-based food (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior B2B Content Writer for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Turns a 30-minute call with an expert into a clear article.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It produces and sells food and drink, with seasonal peaks and strict labelling rules.

The team sits in Mainz. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

• Interview the head of finance and write an 1,100-word piece in their name for the company blog.
• One round of edits after the company's review is included
• A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
• The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed

How the work runs

• Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
• Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
• Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
