About this task
This management consulting firm for energy companies (201–500 employees) is looking for a manager Fractional Controller for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Maps key controls, finds gaps and proposes fixes in proportion to company size.
The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.
The work is fully remote. Any location in Spain works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Walk through procure-to-pay and order-to-cash, document controls and list ten gaps ranked by risk.
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
