About this task
This online retailer for outdoor gear (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a manager Fractional Controller for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Maps key controls, finds gaps and proposes fixes in proportion to company size.
The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.
The team sits in Sofia. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (EET).
What you deliver
- Walk through procure-to-pay and order-to-cash, document controls and list ten gaps ranked by risk.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 1 to 2 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
