HR Case Advice Hour

About this task

This energy services company in energy storage (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior HR Generalist for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. A senior HR leader's view on one case.

The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It is an energy business with strict compliance and reporting cycles.

The work is fully remote. Any location in Ireland works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (Irish time).

What you deliver

• Talk through a difficult HR case and answer three questions on process and risk.
• A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend
• One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
