About this task
This Growth-stage cybersecurity software company for field-service companies (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Business Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Compares current and target capabilities and ranks the gaps.
It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Ontario, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Compare current systems with the target operating model and rank gaps by effort and value.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
