About this task

This Travel-technology company (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Financial Model Reviewer for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. Investor-grade review of a startup model before it is sent out.

The company has one decision to take and wants a senior view before it does. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.

The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Germany. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Check a seed-round model for hard-coded numbers, circularity and unrealistic growth, then send a prioritised list.
• No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend
• A short written summary of the advice within 24 hours after the session
• One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before

How the work runs

• Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
• Days 2 to 4: the work, with questions answered the same day
• Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
