About this task
This Series B collaboration software company for manufacturers (51–200 employees) is looking for a director Fractional CFO for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Finance folder an investor expects: historicals, projections, cap table summary and key policies.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Wisconsin, so this one is for residents there. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Assemble the finance section of the Series A data room, flag gaps, and write the 2-page financial summary.
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
