About this task
This health insurer for homeowners (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior IP & Trademark Support for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Prepares applications and specimens for attorney sign-off.
The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The team sits in Washington, D.C.. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Prepare three trademark applications with goods and services descriptions for attorney review.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 4: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
