About this task
This Series C direct-to-consumer brand for specialty food (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Tax Preparation Support for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Calculates quarterly estimates and safe-harbour amounts.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It sells online, so volumes move with promotions and the calendar matters.
The team sits in Washington, D.C.. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Compute Q4 estimated payments for a sole proprietor using the prior-year safe harbour and current-year income.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
How the work runs
- Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
- Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
- Last day: final version and handover note
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
