About this task

This insurtech company for gig workers (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Fractional HR Business Partner for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Guides managers through conduct and performance cases.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.

The team sits in Kielce. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

• Support managers on three active cases and document each step and decision.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Wednesday: main working block (3 hours)
• Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
