About this task

This Food-supply cooperative (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a director Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Edits drafts to a standard and coaches writers.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is an agri-business, so the calendar follows the growing season.

The team sits in Wolverhampton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

  • Review 15 drafts a week against the style guide and give writers short, specific feedback.
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

  • Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Thursday: main working block (3 hours)
  • Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
