About this task

This telecom operator in IoT connectivity (5,000+ employees) is looking for a director Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Edits drafts to a standard and coaches writers.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.

The team sits in Târgu Mureș. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

• Review 10 drafts a week against the style guide and give writers short, specific feedback.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

• Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Tuesday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
