About this task
This hotel group with resorts (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a director Content Lead for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–8 h a week. Edits drafts to a standard and coaches writers.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.
The company prefers a person who can come to Porto for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (Lisbon time).
What you deliver
- Review 12 drafts a week against the style guide and give writers short, specific feedback.
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Tuesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Wednesday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
