About this task
This Series B accounting software company for e-commerce sellers (51–200 employees) is looking for a specialist Data Quality Analyst for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 8–20 h a month. Finds and merges duplicate accounts and contacts.
A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It operates in regulated payments and lending, so a written trail for every decision matters.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Alberta, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (MT).
What you deliver
- Identify 4,000 likely duplicate accounts in the CRM and prepare a merge file with rules.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
