About this task

This Series C vertical software provider for manufacturers (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Paralegal for an ongoing part-time engagement of 4–12 h a week. Prepares contracts, forms and letters for attorney review.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. The company sells subscription software, so deadlines follow release and billing cycles.

The company prefers a person who can come to Hagen for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Prepare 10 documents a week from templates and client data for attorney review.
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

  • Friday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Thursday: main working block (4 hours)
  • Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.

  • On-call availability outside the agreed window

  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
