About this task
This Personal-care brand selling in 20 countries (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Resolves invoice disputes and issues credit notes under policy.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.
The team sits in Chicago. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts.
What you deliver
- Resolve 20 open disputes with sales and support input and issue approved credit notes.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Thursday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
