About this task

This mobile games company (5,000+ employees) is looking for a specialist Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Resolves invoice disputes and issues credit notes under policy.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is a games studio with release dates that move the whole calendar.

The team sits in Bozeman. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start.

What you deliver

• Resolve 15 open disputes with sales and support input and issue approved credit notes.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Friday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Monday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
• Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
• Friday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
