About this task
This Travel-technology company in corporate travel (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a director Product Manager for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–24 h a month. Customer interviews turned into decisions.
The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It works in travel and hospitality, where demand is seasonal.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Delaware, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Run 10 customer interviews, synthesise the themes and recommend the three problems worth solving next.
- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
