About this task
This proptech company in commercial property (201–500 employees) is looking for a director Product Manager for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 12–24 h a month. Customer interviews turned into decisions.
A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It works in real estate and construction, where project documents change often.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in California, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Run 8 customer interviews, synthesise the themes and recommend the three problems worth solving next.
- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week
- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
What a month looks like
- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month
- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions
- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month
Duration: 8 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
