About this task

This Space-technology company making satellite parts (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Pricing & Competitive Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Shows how discounts relate to deal size, segment and win rate.

A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It works in aerospace, where change control and documentation are formal.

The team sits in Málaga. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Analyse two years of deals to see discount depth by segment and its effect on win rate.
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
  • One round of edits after the company's review is included

How the work runs

  • Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
  • Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
  • Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

  • Comfortable explaining numbers or decisions to a non-specialist reader

Not included

  • Anything that needs a signature in your own name unless the brief says so
  • Work outside the scope written in the brief; extra items are quoted separately
  • Travel or work at a fixed location

How you get paid

  • The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
