About this task

This connectivity provider in fibre broadband (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Pricing & Competitive Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Shows how discounts relate to deal size, segment and win rate.

A fresh pair of experienced eyes is needed, and the result is a document or file the team can use straight away. It is a telecom company, with large datasets and long-running programmes.

The team sits in Boca Raton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.

What you deliver

  • Analyse two years of deals to see discount depth by segment and its effect on win rate.
  • The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
  • A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
  • A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer

How the work runs

  • Day 1: scope confirmed in writing, files shared
  • Middle of the period: draft shared for early feedback
  • Last day: final version and handover note

Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

  • Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
  • You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
  • You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
