About this task
This retail chain selling furniture (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager FP&A Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. A template and guidance that department heads can fill in without help.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.
The team sits in Milton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Create a budget template with drop-downs, checks and a one-page guide, then collect and consolidate six submissions.
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: 2 to 3 weeks. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
