About this task
This specialty insurer covering small businesses (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager FP&A Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. A template and guidance that department heads can fill in without help.
The work is too small to justify a hire and too important to leave to chance. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The team sits in Eugene. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Create a budget template with drop-downs, checks and a one-page guide, then collect and consolidate six submissions.
- A 20-minute walkthrough call, or a recorded screen share if you prefer
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
