About this task

This Series B gaming platform making strategy games (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist SQL & ETL Support for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–24 h a month. Builds clean, tested models from raw tables.

A named list of recurring items keeps the month predictable for both sides. It is a games studio with release dates that move the whole calendar.

The team sits in Wigan. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

What you deliver

  • Build staging and mart models for subscriptions with tests and documentation.
  • A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
  • The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result
  • A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week

What a month looks like

  • Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
  • Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
  • Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items

Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
