About this task

This omnichannel retailer (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager SQL & ETL Support for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–24 h a month. Builds clean, tested models from raw tables.

The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.

The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Netherlands. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Build staging and mart models for subscriptions with tests and documentation.
  • A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost
  • A month-end summary with hours used against the cap
  • A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week

What a month looks like

  • Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities
  • Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes
  • Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items

Duration: 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
