About this task
This commercial bank (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Keeps the DATEV ledger tidy so the Steuerberater can close the month without questions.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a regulated bank; the work is documented and reviewed before anything is signed off.
The team sits in Hamburg. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.
What you deliver
- Book and match 150 receipts a month in DATEV Unternehmen online and flag postings the tax adviser needs to review.
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Thursday: main working block (2 hours)
- Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
