About this task

This industrial manufacturer making industrial pumps (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Keeps the DATEV ledger tidy so the Steuerberater can close the month without questions.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It manufactures physical products, and the office team works to month-end and plant schedules.

The team sits in Chemnitz. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Book and match 200 receipts a month in DATEV Unternehmen online and flag postings the tax adviser needs to review.
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
  • A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

What a week looks like

  • Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
  • Tuesday: main working block (2 hours)
  • Wednesday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
