About this task

This health insurer covering fleets and logistics (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Keeps the DATEV ledger tidy so the Steuerberater can close the month without questions.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.

The company prefers a person who can come to Berlin for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

  • Book and match 120 receipts a month in DATEV Unternehmen online and flag postings the tax adviser needs to review.
  • A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
  • A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
  • Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

What a week looks like

  • Friday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
  • Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
  • Tuesday: update sent before the company's end of day

Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
