About this task

This corporate law firm (201–500 employees) is looking for a specialist Bookkeeper for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Keeps the DATEV ledger tidy so the Steuerberater can close the month without questions.

The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a law firm; confidentiality is absolute and every file is handled under supervision.

The team sits in Augsburg. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).

What you deliver

• Book and match 120 receipts a month in DATEV Unternehmen online and flag postings the tax adviser needs to review.
• A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

What a week looks like

• Thursday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
• Wednesday: main working block (2 hours)
• Monday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open

Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in EUR after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
