About this task
This household products maker in snacks (51–200 employees) is looking for a manager Data Scientist for a paid one-hour session with a senior specialist. A senior data scientist's view on one decision.
A short, focused session replaces days of internal debate. It sells consumer goods through retailers, so planning cycles run to a fixed monthly calendar.
The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from France. The call is booked at a time that suits you, evenings included. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (CET).
What you deliver
- Review a start-up's data plan and answer three questions on what to build first and what to buy.
- One focused hour, with the questions sent to you the day before
- No preparation outside the hour unless you both agree to extend
- Pointers to sources you relied on, so the company can check them
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 3: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: One session of about an hour. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
