About this task
This property and casualty insurer covering small businesses (5,000+ employees) is looking for a manager Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Triages requests from the business and delivers the small ones.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The team sits in Wolverhampton. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).
What you deliver
- Handle the week's data requests, close the quick ones and rank the rest for the team lead.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities
- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours
- Thursday: update sent before the company's end of day
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
