About this task
This digital media company covering technology (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Triages requests from the business and delivers the small ones.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It publishes content on a schedule, so editorial deadlines are fixed.
The work is fully remote and open to anyone living in an EU country; the team itself works from Finland. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there.
What you deliver
- Handle the week's data requests, close the quick ones and rank the rest for the team lead.
- A written update every Thursday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Thursday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
