About this task
This Last-mile delivery company (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Triages requests from the business and delivers the small ones.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.
The team sits in Dover. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).
What you deliver
- Handle the week's data requests, close the quick ones and rank the rest for the team lead.
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Tuesday: 15-minute check-in to agree the week's items
- Monday: main working block (2 hours)
- Thursday: hand-off note with what shipped and what is open
Duration: 6 months, then month by month. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
