About this task
This specialty insurer (5,000+ employees) is looking for a senior Data Quality Analyst for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Profiles a dataset for missing values, duplicates and outliers.
It is a self-contained job: scope, checklist and price are agreed before you start. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.
The team sits in Newcastle upon Tyne. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Profile the customer table and report missing-value rates, duplicates and invalid values by field.
- One round of edits after the company's review is included
- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed
- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope
How the work runs
- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files
- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day
- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough
Duration: about 10 working days. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.
