About this task
This specialty retailer with stores in six countries (5,000+ employees) is looking for a specialist Data Quality Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Handles reported data problems and tracks the root cause.
The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.
The team sits in Düsseldorf. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Triage the week's data issues, fix the simple ones and log root causes for the rest.
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Wednesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.
