About this task
This Home-goods retailer with 120 stores (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Data Quality Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Handles reported data problems and tracks the root cause.
The team is stretched and wants steady, predictable help instead of another full-time hire. It is a retailer with stores and an online channel, and the team works to a weekly trading rhythm.
The team sits in Drogheda. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Most people do this on weekday evenings; replies inside the working day are not expected.
What you deliver
- Triage the week's data issues, fix the simple ones and log root causes for the rest.
- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
- A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Wednesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 8 weeks, renewable. Accepted on the company's written OK. If something is missed, you fix it in the same week at no extra charge to either side.
