About this task
This education foundation in climate (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior Data Quality Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–5 h a week. Handles reported data problems and tracks the root cause.
The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is a nonprofit, so budgets are tight and grant reporting dates are fixed.
The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in British Columbia, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 3 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (PT).
What you deliver
- Triage the week's data issues, fix the simple ones and log root causes for the rest.
- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked
- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
What a week looks like
- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
- Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
- Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread
Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.
