About this task

This agritech company in crop analytics (1,001–5,000 employees) is looking for a senior KPI Dashboard Owner for an ongoing part-time engagement of 2–4 h a week. Handles requests for new metrics and decides what is built.

The person who did this left, and the company would rather bring in an experienced part-timer than rush a permanent hire. It is an agri-business, so the calendar follows the growing season.

The company prefers a person who can come to Halifax for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (AT).

What you deliver

• Triage dashboard requests weekly, merge duplicates and give an honest estimate to each requester.
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call
• A written update every Tuesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Monday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Tuesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in CAD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
