About this task

This property and casualty insurer for travel (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a specialist BI Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 3–6 h a week. Keeps existing dashboards accurate, fast and used.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is an insurer, so accuracy and an audit trail come before speed.

The company prefers a person who can come to Williamsport for kickoff and the final review; the rest is remote. The company prefers early-morning hours, before a normal working day starts. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

What you deliver

• Fix broken filters, retire unused reports and keep 15 dashboards refreshing on schedule.
• A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends
• Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day
• A written update every Monday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

What a week looks like

• Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window
• Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked
• Monday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

Duration: 12 weeks, renewable. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

How you get paid

• The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.
• Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.
• You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.
• You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
